Hi -

No one in my house is on a vaccine schedule at the moment, so I didn't even notice that discrepancy, good for you! Getting an MMR at that age would be a mistake in itself, and I wasn't aware of the alleged pneumonia problems associated with the pneumococcal vax - so either situation could be bad. I'm really stunned then that the coroner missed this question as to which vax was given - and didn't seem to be bothered by the fact that a healthy-appearing child died of natural causes so soon after a jab at all. And the fact that there was a inquest must have meant that there was some question or controversy in the first place, which there certainly ought to have been. It's unfortunate that it wasn't taken more seriously. I think this is a sad manifestation of the assumptions being made in the health and public spheres about vaccines.

hi
I spotted this story too,
It doesn't quite add up!! MMR should not be given to a 3 month baby, but I suspect that it was given the Pneumococcal Vaccine, thats correct for the UK Vaccine schedule
MMR is given at 12-13 Months
please take a look at the 2 articles
